Lew Hoff, President & CEO

Lew HoffBefore co-founding Bartizan Corporation in 1970, Lew Hoff graduated from University of Massachusetts with a BA in Economics and attended Fordham Graduate School of Business. He graduated from the U.S. Air Force officers training school and served more than four years active duty as an Air Force Officer. Prior to founding Bartizan, he worked for United Airlines, served as Assistant Director of the American Management Association's New York Management Center and as National Sales Manager for ICV, Inc.

Lew is also Chairman of Addressograph-Bartizan, the world's largest manufacturer of credit card data recorders.

Elizabeth Mazei, Executive Vice President & COO

Elizabeth MazeiThe most successful salesperson ever for Bartizan Corporation and, now, Bartizan Connects, Elizabeth is well versed in the company's growing product and services line and maintains an ongoing rapport with customers, partners, and business associates.

Always with an eye on the "win-win," Liz brokers unique and profitable sales partnerships that continually yield long-term benefits for both the company and its customers. Highly future-focused, Liz is one of the driving forces behind the company's innovations and successes. She inspires and manages skillfully earning respect and admiration among business peers and staff alike.

Liz attended both the University of California and Hofstra University, earning both a BA and a Graduate Degree in business.

ENGINEERING & R&D:

Ayman Ahmed, Senior Vice President & CTO

Ayman AhmedWhat would a technology company be without a Chief Technology Officer at the helm? And Ayman is one gem of a CTO! Always vigilant to maintain a balance of innovation and production, Ayman is often the "idea man," yet he manages and inspires a team of hardware and software engineers to develop even better ideas. Weighing each option with thoughtful consideration, Ayman selects technological directions for the company that will yield the most benefit. He is usually "in the building" for long hours and works on "Ayman time" - hours and days on end when he knows he is at his most productive. Driven to succeed, Ayman's technical background with his forward-thinking motivation are a rare and valuable combination.

Ayman holds a degree in architecture from the University of Alexandria; worked for a year as an architect and then earned a masters degree in computer science from New York Institute of Technology. He joined Bartizan in 1995.

Ahmed Dami, Software Engineer

Ahmed DamiAhmed joined Bartizan in 2001 as an intern while he pursued his Master of Science in Computer Science at Iona College. Apparently, the additional challenge of working long hours as a graduate assistant at his college wasn't enough, and luckily for us, after graduation, he decided that he wanted to stay on to design software for Bartizan.

Ahmed enjoys working at Bartizan because "every day is a challenging learning experience nurtured by a fun work environment with flexible hours, strong team spirit, and nice co-workers." He has had the opportunity to lend his skills to most Bartizan software products, from embedded systems to desktop and database applications, making him one of our company's most valuable assets. Ahmed is most interested in the new .NET technologies including C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, and the rest of the Microsoft development suite.

But wait, computer programming isn't his only talent; Ahmed also holds an MBA from St. Thomas Aquinas College with a concentration in Finance, and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics from the University Mohamed V., in Rabat, Morocco. In his spare time, Ahmed enjoys playing soccer.

Zhe Huang, Software Engineer

Zhe HuangZhe joined Bartizan in 2003. His vision and creativity have become integral to our development of 21st Century products that will harness the latest technology. Prior to joining Bartizan, he worked as a software engineer for OFS Fitel, the fiber optics division of Lucent Technologies. Focusing on Leads2GO and AT-Mobile among other products, Zhe enjoys working with Windows CE, C# and is currently mastering .NET development. "Working here is exciting because I like to get started with a totally new thing and see how it fits together at its completion," he says.

Zhe holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Temple University, and a MS in Chemistry from Temple University. An avid singles tennis player, he also maintains an interest in pure science, in particular in polymer modeling to see how forces affect other materials.

MARKETING/SALES

Christopher Eisenberg, Vice President

Christopher EisenbergChris runs our west coast office. He spearheads our sales and marketing effort with registration contractors, show producers, associations and consumer shows. Chris is instrumental in helping customers find the perfect solution, drafting proposals that will serve as a blueprint for Bartizan and customer alike.

Chris considers his job to be that of consultant to the customer, offering the best possible solution even if that doesn't include Bartizan. Chris is a member of both the IAEM and NACS.

He earned his law degree from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting & Film from Boston University.

Jo-Anne Daniels, Inside Sales

Jo-Anne is a premier customer service professional and has worked the phones for Bartizan since her early career days. Whether responding to a customer inquiry or following up to answer questions after prospective customers have received informational materials, Jo-Anne begins and ends each call with an audible smile. Prior to joining Bartizan, she worked with both Holiday Inn and the original "Ma Bell", bringing the extensive customer-oriented training she received with her. Knowing that first (and last) impressions count is what makes Jo-Anne so very effective on the phone.

HUMAN RESOURCES:

Donna Fredican, Manager Communications, Operational Learning, Quality Standards (COLQS)

Donna FredicanJoining Bartizan in 1994, Donna is responsible for implementing all human resources policies and procedures including sourcing, employee orientation, training and benefits administration, career planning, compensation, equal opportunity policies, human resource management, and payroll policies and procedures.

Donna takes the "human" side of her job very seriously, providing knowledge-based support to the entire staff. She works closely with all levels of personnel and is well regarded for her experience and professionalism. Prior to joining Bartizan, she worked as an executive assistant in various industries. She is a graduate of Hunter College, New York City.

TRAINING / TECHNICAL SUPPORT:

Kerri Guy, Technical Support Manager

Kerri GuyBartizan customers and staff alike rely on Kerri for answers to almost any technical question -- from the mundane to the complicated. Her trouble-shooting skills are exemplary and customers continually offer praise about her experience, patience, and skill when addressing customer concerns. Kerri works closely on each AttendTrack account including providing top-notch training and coordinating customer placement and implementation. She is familiar with many computer software programs as well as the intricacies of a computer network. Kerri has been with Bartizan since 1990. She is the primary contact for Bartizan's customer Help Desk and everyone in the office also goes to Kerri's Desk for Help, which she graciously provides at anyone's request.

Kerri holds a BS from Manhattan College, New York.

Scott Dengrove, On-site Support Manager

Scott DengroveWhen Scott and his team of specially trained tecnicians are on the show floor for lead retrieval, badge printing or networking computers, you can rest assured the "show will go on". Each member of the group can troubleshoot every aspect of our lead retrieval equipment as well as support the software, badge printers, PC's, kiosks and networks that make it all happen.

When Scott is not "On the Road", he has a multitude of other responsibilities. He is a product support specialist and assists our customers when they have a question about our terminals or software. He also conducts training seminars for distributors. A software engineer himself, Scott also assists the technical department by testing our various software offerings, acts as our Webmaster and is happy to help add graphics and design to our many marketing pieces.

Scott has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Computer Science from Queens College.

ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT:

Evelyn Campana, Accounting Manager

Evelyn CampanaWith a degree in accounting from Westchester Business Institute, White Plains, NY College, Bronx, NY, Evelyn's career took a bit of a different turn when she joined Bartizan in 1990. At different times, she's been committed to different areas, including customer service, manufacturing and accounting. With the completion of her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, she has found a home as the manager of the Accounting department.

With her all-round professionalism and pleasing phone manner, Evelyn keeps our accounts current and our customers happy.

TRADE, CONSUMER, & CORPORATE SHOWS LOGISTICS:

Breda Meaney, Customer Service & Product Manager

Breda MeaneyBreda has been at Bartizan since 1997. Skilled in numerous computer software programs, Breda provides support in many areas.

Processing rental reservations for lead retrieval products and services is her primary job responsibility and, with that, comes continual communication with lead retrieval and show management customers, management of their accounts, and solving last minute glitches. She is particularly adept at juggling the many shows and interfaces with the production department to ensure that the right products are shipped to the right customers at the right.

Breda completed business studies at Technical College and several computer courses at a New York-based school.

WAREHOUSE/SHIPPING:

Jim Lennon, Logistics Manager, Facilities Manager

Jim LennonAs both logistics and facilities manager, Jim wears many hats at Bartizan. At one moment he will be directing the fulfillment of tradeshow orders and the next, working closely with space designers, phone or HVAC technicians to keep the Bartizan building humming. He also oversees management of the warehouse and all incoming/outgoing shipments.

Also a successful, homegrown entrepreneur, Jim designed, owned and operated two restaurants before joining Bartizan twice - first in 1987 and last in 1997. He is truly available to all who need him as an all-around coordinator and manager.

NOTE: There are many other employees at Bartizan Connects working day after day to build, restore, repair, maintain, test, ship and receive products. Their undeniable dedication and work ethic is one of Bartizan's most valuable assets. While they cannot each be mentioned here, they ARE recognized for their commitment and never-ending cooperation.
